
Tyson is dedicated to helping patients feel empowered with knowledge and skills needed to take an active role in their own health. He practices family medicine and has a particular interest in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and cardiovascular disease.
A native of Idaho Falls, Tyson is passionate about serving the community he calls home. He graduated from Hillcrest High School, then served a two-year mission to Estonia. He earned his bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho and his master’s degree from Idaho State University in 2007.
Outside of medicine, Tyson enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. His interests include serving in his church, piano, tennis, and making chocolate chip cookies! And Tyson is an even more avid BYU fan than Tanner is!

Tanner Bodily PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at Idaho Falls Family and Sports Medicine and received his Degree in Physician Assistant studies at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Tanner is passionate about Primary Care because he enjoys treating a little bit of everything. He especially enjoys doing in-office procedures such as joint injections, ingrown toenails, skin lesions, splints, etc.
Tanner was born and raised in Idaho Falls. He is a proud graduate of Skyline High School where he enjoyed playing Basketball, Football, and Track & Field.
He then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in São Paulo, Brazil speaking Portuguese.
Tanner received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University and is an enduring, loyal BYU sports fan.
Tanner enjoys spending quality time with his wife, and three kids. He loves the outdoors and especially enjoys hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, and playing basketball.

Laura Ivie is a physician assistant with 15 years of experience in medicine, providing thoughtful, patient-centered care to individuals and families of all ages.
She values building long-term relationships with her patients and is especially focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, and clear, compassionate communication. She is known for her approachable style, strong clinical judgment, and collaborative approach to care.
She has lived in Idaho for most of her life. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She likes baking, reading, gardening and adventuring.


Matthew Merzlock, PA-C
Matthew Merzlock has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2004. Raised in Southeast Idaho, Matt developed strong roots in the community and a deep appreciation for service early in life.
He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oklahoma and Texas, where he learned to communicate effectively in Spanish—an ability he continues to use in caring for Spanish-speaking patients. Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology and his Master’s degree from Idaho State University.
Matt is passionate about partnering with his patients and helping them make informed, confident decisions about their health. He values clear communication, shared decision-making, and providing compassionate care in both English and Spanish.
Matt has been married to his wife, Renae, since 1998. Together they have two sons and one daughter. As a family, they enjoy golfing, fishing, spending time outdoors, travel, music, and following a variety of sports.
